Founded in 1977 and headquartered in Boldon, United Kingdom, IDS develops and manufactures specialty immunoassays and fully automated immunoanalysers. Its menu is centred on endocrinology — vitamin D, bone turnover, adrenal function, growth and CKD-MBD — alongside autoimmunity, infectious disease, allergy and therapeutic drug monitoring.
