Founded in 1991 in Granada, Vircell develops and manufactures ready-to-use reagents for the diagnosis of human infectious disease.
Its range runs from cell culture and immunofluorescence through to chemiluminescence and real-time PCR. The company produces its own antigens, operates BSL-3 facilities and exports to more than 95 countries across five continents.
The VirClia monotest format removes the need for batching: each test carries its own calibrator and control, so a district hospital can run a single Brucella or H. pylori sample the moment it arrives, without waiting to fill a plate.

Brucellosis
Agglutination serology for brucellosis is first-line work in Iraqi public health laboratories. Vircell covers every step, from the rapid screen to confirmation and patient follow-up.
Rapid card agglutination with a coloured antigen suspension and an immediate result. 125 tests per kit, all reagents ready to use.
Total anti-Brucella antibodies in a single immunocapture-agglutination step, for chronic brucellosis diagnosis and patient follow-up.
Positives can also be confirmed by ELISA or VirClia. With monotests, a district hospital can run a single Brucella sample as soon as it arrives.

Instruments
We supply, install, calibrate and maintain these systems across all 18 governorates, with reagents and consumables delivered under a controlled cold chain.
Automated chemiluminescence analyser covering up to 94 infectious disease markers in monotest format. 40 results in 90 minutes: first result at about 70 minutes, then one every 35 seconds. 50 primary tubes plus 50 dilution tubes, continuous loading, random access, STAT priority, automatic predilution and full barcode traceability.
Sample-to-answer real-time PCR with integrated extraction: up to 18 targets simultaneously, closed system, about 90 minutes with under 2 minutes of hands-on time.
Middleware that centralises assay configuration, curve and Ct analysis, automatic interpretation and LIS connectivity over HL7 and ASTM.
