About the manufacturer
Established in 2006 in Hyderabad, Sensa Core designs and manufactures ion-selective-electrode and biosensor-based in-vitro diagnostic instruments: blood gas and electrolyte analysers, point-of-care meters, reagents and consumables.
It reports more than 60,000 installations, and also supplies ISE modules to other analyser manufacturers as an OEM.
Sensa Core builds the sensing core itself rather than only the enclosure; its ISE modules are integrated into more than twenty third-party analyser platforms. For an emergency department or a district laboratory, snap-in electrodes and a low cost per test matter more than a headline throughput figure.

Technology
Ion-selective electrodes in the analysers, biosensor strips in the point-of-care meters.
The basis of every electrolyte and blood gas analyser in the range, and of the OEM electrode modules integrated into 20+ third-party platforms.
Field-replaceable electrode sets described by the manufacturer as maintenance-free and long-lasting; routine upkeep is limited to replacing a soluble reagent pack and pump tube.
The glucose and lactate meters read from 0.5 µL of capillary blood in about five seconds, with code-free strips; the Hemo Spark haemoglobin meter uses 10 µL and reports in under 30 seconds.
